Screw piles

Screw piles are helical steel piles wound into the ground to a specified torque and depth, giving an immediate load-bearing foundation with no spoil and no waiting for concrete to cure. We install 76 mm, 89 mm and 105 mm diameter helical piles to your engineer's design for homes, decks, sheds, retaining walls and light commercial structures.

Based in Keilor East, Melbourne. Working across metropolitan and regional Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.

Questions we get asked

Screw piles or bored piers?

Both are foundation options. Screw piles are fast, produce no spoil and suit reactive or soft soils. Bored piers are drilled and poured concrete, often specified for heavier loads or rock. The engineer's design decides; we install either.

How quickly can you build on them?

Immediately. There's no concrete to cure, which can save a week or more on the program.
